Keep on Blogging!

9 03 2008

The blogs are looking great! We have 77 individual student blogs, most with several posts. We also have over 150 comments! Since the Circus Arts unit ends on Friday, March 14, all blogs need to be completed by then as well. Your final post should include a summary about what you got out of the Circus Arts unit – what you learned, what you liked, what you didn’t like, who you helped, who helped you, etc.

Don’t forget to check your earlier posts to see if anyone left comments. You should also check out some of the other student blogs if you haven’t already, and leave comments on some of them.

Finally, whether you are posting to your blog or commenting on someone else’s – PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SPELLING!

Welcome to the Circus Arts blog!

Students: Find your blog listed on the right. Open it, login, and begin posting. For each entry, write a few lines about your experiences in the circus arts class. Some suggestions for things to write about:

What you have tried.
• What you have been successful with.
• What kinds of frustrations you have experienced.
• What may have been some reasons for your successes/frustrations.
• What areas you have improved in.
• What skills or tricks you have invented.
• What skills or tricks you taught to someone else. How it felt to be able to teach someone else.
• A realistic goal you might set for yourself for the next class.

Also, be sure to visit some of your classmates blogs and comment on what they have written, by giving feedback, offering advice, sharing your own experiences.

Visitors: Feel free to comment on students’ blog entries, share your own circus arts experiences, give suggestions, etc., but keep it positive and respectful.
